Days off are boring

So here I am sitting in an emptyish food court on my day off; just spent £5 on another unsatisfiable lump of meat in bread with sticks of potato as a side. Realised to myself that days off nowadays involve a lot of sitting around at home doing nothing or a lot of sitting around here in the food court people watching eating the same shite either way!

Todays pickings of viewables are the usual bunch. Mums with screaming brats, people in suits or uniforms and wheelchair enthusiasts along with their smug carrers. After a while it all becomes the same day in day out; like a classic tv rerun you always turn the tv over when it on.

With barley £10 in my pocket now (after having it my way with no added ice) I will likely end up in HMV browsing through the £1 section looking at the same half arsed films.

The question is.. when did it all get a little more boring? I remember the joy of having very little money or time and lakeside was a huge playground. Now its just the same thing all year round (with the exception of christmas; the only time of year parents que up to give their child to a man with a beard (normally that’s the worse thing?) ) with no suprises and nothing different.

Well now I’ve added a little joy to your day I’m off to walk around a little then back home.

Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam! Why do I keep on getting so much bloody German spam! What I cannot understand is that thunderbird doesn’t always see it as spam! Why can I just not turn round to thunderbird and tell it that I don’t speak freeking German. More to the point though how have I ended up on some german spam list?!? Well at least it’s not viagra….

Ok so I have finally crumbled under the pressure and set up my blog using wordpress! I will say though a custom template on wordpress is freeking awful to pull off as the wordpress programing means you have to play dirty! Most of it looks done now so let me know if you come accross any glitches and what not. I should be posting my rants, thoughts and seen things on here more once I connect it to my G1.

London to Brighton

British Heart Foundation

Today I recived my information pack through for my London to Brighton bike ride which is happening on the 21st June 2009. Hopefully I finish the race all 54 miles of it without falling of my bike and getting run over by another cyclist!

Knowing Review

02040925148028 these numbers should be added to the list on that movie. What do they represent? Well they represent that today two people almost died of disbelief over the shocking ending to the film.

The film iteself held its own with amazing CGI and a really logical storyline but then they ruined the whole lot with a crummy “aliens starting a new eden” ending. Completly out of place and makes no connection to the rest of the film! It almost seems that they had to rush together an ending in 5 minuites.

Seen the film what are your views?

Scary road crossings

So im here back home from my weeks holiday in LA! Few things to say about LA, it was a really enjoyable holiday but I would’nt recommend too long of a stay . Really the only problem i found was the heat and how disapointing the whole “LA” scene was, really it was just like any normal city with its hobos and crappy shops .
